As previously reported, Canadian all-female act Scarlet Sins will be co-hosting the Hard Beyond Driven radio show in Toronto on Monday, November 27th from 8:00pm - 11:00pm. The band has issued the following update:

"Hello Sinners!

On Monday, November 27th, we are co-hosting the Hard Beyond Driven radio show with Metal Mike! Tune in to www.hardbeyonddriven.com between 8pm-11pm or CALL IN to talk to us at 416-736-2100 ext. 88400.

In other news, we are done recording in the studio! The album is currently being mixed and is still scheduled for a release in the Spring. We’ll let you know about our upcoming CD release parties very soon.

Finally, we are only playing one more show before the New Year. Come and join us at the Bovine Sex Club (542 Queen St. W. in Toronto) on Saturday, December 16th. It is taken from their forthcoming full length debut album, which was produced by Rich Chycki, known for his work with RUSH, AEROSMITH, and DREAM THEATER frontman James LaBrie.

As previously reported, Scarlet Sins are due to release their debut album in September. The cover art can be viewed on the left (click to enlarge). The album was produced by Rich Chycki, known for his work with RUSH, AEROSMITH, and DREAM THEATER frontman James LaBrie.

SCARLET SINS - Video Footage Of 'Strangelove' Drum Rehearsal Available

As previously reported, Toronto based all-female act SCARLET SINS have covered the DEPECHE MODE hit 'Strangelove' on their self-titled debut album, featuring a new arrangement of the song. Rehearsal video footage of drummer Elie Bertrand playing along with the track is now online at this location.

Details:
What you have to do is help us promote the hell out of our Opera House show! You will accumulate points for all the different things you do.

Let's say you print off the posters available on our downloads page and post them everywhere, you'll get 1 point for each poster. If you get a review or interview for the band in your local paper, you'll get 5 points. If you get radio airplay or plug our show live on air, you get more points. The more creative you are, the more points you will accumulate.

-- For each poster you post. Poster available on the Downloads page on our website!
-- For every web banner you place on MySpace comments or Facebook pages. Copy and paste code from the Downloads page.
-- For every 10 flyers you hand out at a Toronto concert between now and the show and WE will supply the flyers.

2 points:
--For each day you post our web flyer as your MySpace, Facebook (or whatever profile you have!) pic.
-- For placing 20 flyers in your local tattoo, clothing, music store, etc. Flyers available on the Downloads page!

5 points:
-- For each review or article you can get in a printed local paper or webzine.
-- For each web radio interview you can get.
-- For sporting a Scarlet Sins shirt on a local television station.
-- For each show poster/flyer/web banner that you create using ANY of our pics, plus our logo that you can download off the Media page.
-- If we post your graphics as our MySpace or Facebook pic cause it's so cool we can't help it!

10 points:
-- For any mention of the concert on an AM, FM or Satellite radio station or TV show.
-- For any radio plays of one of our songs on a FM, AM or Satellite station.

Extra points will be given for originality. Take pictures or videos of the posters you post and you handing out flyers, send us links to MySpace comments that you post, or links to your personal page, whatever it may be, that shows our web flyer or our pic as your default. Send these links for each day that you post our flyer or pic. All pics, video links, and web links must be submitted to scarletsinscontest@hotmail.com with your Forum ID in the subject.

SCARLET SINS Featured On Sirius Satellite Radio Tonight, To Perform Live Acoustic Set




Toronto's SCARLET SINS have issued the following update:

"Listen in to Sirius Satellite channel 186 on Wednesday, June 11th. We'll be the first band to ever perform live on the Relentless Radio Hour! The show starts at 9:00pm and we'll be doing an interview and acoustic performance around 9:30pm. For any of you who don't have a subscription to Sirius, the show will be archived on their website at www.hardcoresportsradio.com. In-studio photos, courtesy of Benslens.ca, will also be on the Relentless blog page the next day."

As previously reported, Scarlet Sins have been tapped to play the Sarnia Bayfest on July 10th. They will be performing on July 10th, the same day MÖTLEY CRÜE makes their highly anticipated and controversial appearance at the event. REVOLVER, featuring ex-SLIK TOXIK frontman Nick walsh, is also due to play on that day.

SCARLET SINS - Bus Trip To Sarnia Bayfest MÖTLEY CRÜE Support Show Announced

Toronto's SCARLET SINS have issued issued the following update:

"Hey Sinners...as most of you probably know by now, we'll be opening up for MÖTLEY Fuckin' CRÜE at Sarnia Bayfest on July 10th! We've had many people in Toronto telling us that they want to come to the show, so we're organizing a bus charter to get people from Toronto to Sarnia that day. The bus would take you back to Toronto right after Motley Crue are done playing. The exact location of pick up and drop off will be confirmed later.

Right now, what we need from you guys in order to book this bus charter is for you to let us know exactly how many people you will bring on the bus. The prices are still not confirmed but we can tell you it would be around $30 per person. You would have to buy your tickets for the show separately, through www.sarniabayfest.com.

Please get back to us ASAP so we can book the bus. This is gonna be such a kick ass concert...we'd love for you guys to join us!"

SCARLET SINS - "We’re Not Models, We’re Musicians And It Was Our Music That Won Us The Right To Share The Stage With The CRÜE"

As previously reported, SCARLET SINS, the Toronto based all-female hard rock band, will be the special support act for MÖTLEY CRÜE when the infamous L.A. rockers perform at Sarnia’s annual Rogers Bayfest (a six night celebration of music) on Thursday July 10th. The Crüe are touring in support of their new album Saints Of Los Angeles and Scarlet Sins are touring in support of their self-titled debut album (produced by Rich Chycki – AEROSMITH, RUSH, MICK JAGGER).

For Scarlet Sins this show is a dream come true, sharing the stage with one of the most notorious and successful rock bands of all time and one of their biggest influences. “We’re not models, we’re musicians” says vocalist Sylvya NuVynska “and it was our music that won us the right to share the stage with The Crue. We expect to impress them.”

Eight days after their Sarnia experience Scarlet Sins will celebrate their first anniversary when they headline a show at Toronto’s Opera House (July 18 – All-Ages and 19+). Between the two shows the band will finish shooting the video for the song 'Drown' from their debut release.
