| LAKE OF TEARS Explain Tracks On New AlbumJohan Oudhuis, LAKE OF TEARS' bass player, spoke with MetalHead.ro about their new album, Moons And Mushrooms, and about every song included on the release, prior to the band's upcoming Romanian gig, scheduled for September 8th. Even if the name Moons And Mushrooms is not "such a big concept", in the bassist's opinion, still the title gives the band a feeling of agreement and welfare. "I think it consists of something which can be defined as the Lake Of Tears spirit", says Johan. Johan Oudhuis about the songs included on this album: 'Last Purple Sky' - "This in one of the first songs written for this album, so it is quite old. When we first played it, we thought, 'Well, this will be the first song of the album!'. It's a classical Lake Of Tears. The track is correlated with the production, which emphasizes the guitar work, so the sound is pretty heavy." Read more at this location. | |
