GARY MOORE - Signed Guitar Up For Grabs In Charity Auction; UK Tour Dates Announced

The following message has been posted at guitar legend GARY MOORE's (ex-THIN LIZZY) website by Sarah Cox:

"Gary Moore very kindly signed a Tanglewood guitar for me. It is to be auctioned at an event in Weston super Mare with all proceeds going to CLIC-Sargent (cancer and leukemia in childhood). The event is held at Sand Bay Holiday Village, Sand Bay, Kewstoke, Weston Super Mare. Their telephone number is 00441934 428200 for tickets which are priced at £15.00 per ticket and a further £10.00 for B&B if people wish to stay overnight. ALL PROCEEDS from ticket sales go to CLIC-Sargent the children's charity. There are only 200 tickets left with over 3/4 sold already as they are such good value for money. If people want to come on the night and place a bid they are more than welcome - there will be 7 bands on in two different rooms - ranging from 60's through to heavy rock to acoustic. If they want to place a bid for the guitar in advance they are more than welcome but they would have to do this via my mobile number 0796 7709018 and say how much they are prepared to go up to.

Bands playing are BEACH BOYS INC, DOCTOR CHOCOLATE, MIDNIGHT SHADOWS, THE FOUR COUGHS, SAFFRON MONKEY, STRING THEORY and OUT N RUNNING.

The successful bidder will get a picture framed of Gary with the guitar as proof of authenticity."

In other news, Moore will be hitting the road in the UK during May and June 2007. Tickets go on Sale 9am, January 26th. Dates are as follows:
