Suncity Records To Reissue QUADE, BIG GUNS Rarities

QUADE T59784 Suncity Records have issued the following update:
"The first lot of news we have this year is another double signing that is sure to whet the appetite of all the AOR purists around the globe. Suncity’s inaugural complete AOR releases from the bands QUADE and BIG GUNS.

First we will start off with Quade. The album that we will be releasing is Quade's 1989 cassette only release entitled Rock In Motion. Quade went on after that to release their next album, Heaven’s Break which is these days considered a ultra rare collectors item and is currently being bootlegged by Rock It Records (Italy) out of America.

The closest comparison to the music of Quade's Rock In Motion would be in my opinion classic mid to late '80’s HONEYMOON SUITE. So if you like spine tingling keyboards with a very rockin’ vibe, this release is for you. Rock In Motion is considered by many AOR fans as a much more complete and all round release than the follow up Heaven's Break.

The song that we are featuring below is a ballad off the album and should give you an idea of the talent this band have: Quade - 'Been So Long'.

Next is the UK band Big Guns. This time we will be releasing their unreleased follow up album entitled Stick’em Up! No to be confused with the US band that released a CDR called Bustin’ Out” at the end of last year.

Big Guns are U.K.'s answer to the legendary hard rockers DANGER DANGER. Big Guns hit the scene in the early '90's when they were signed to Japanese hard rock label giant Zero Records. In 1994 the band made their break through with their critically acclaimed debut release entitled On Dangerous Ground. An ultra rare collectable to this day, what many people believe was that the only thing that kept On Dangerous Ground from being a classic AOR release was the less than parr production. Knowing the fact about the poor production, Big Guns were adament to right the wrong when recording their second album and proving to themselves that they were an AOR powerhouse. Putting it all on the line to record the classic AOR album, Big Guns decided to self fund their next album on their very own. Coughing up $30,000 for the recording process which was a hell of a lot of money back in those days. Unfortunately $30,000 at the recording quality that the band was after was only enough for six tracks of AOR magic. Due to the music climate at the time, no record label was willing to give Big Guns a chance at rock stardom. Those six previously unreleased tracks will be the content of Suncity Records's Big Guns - Stick'em Up! album and is due to be released early this year. Wrap your ears around one of six excellent AOR tunes with the rockin' track entitled 'Don't Push'."
