GOTTHARD To Release "Domino Effect" On April 27th

Swiss rockers GOTTHARD will issue their forthcoming album Domino Effect on April 27th, both in Switzerland and worldwide. According to singer Leo Leoni, "it is the best Gotthard album ever to be released."

Gotthard's latest studio album, Lipservice, was released in June, 2005 through Nuclear Blast and reached #1 in Switzerland, #31 in Germany and #58 in Austria. Made In Switzerland, a CD/DVD set that contains 17 songs that were recorded during a concert at the Hallenstadion in Zurich in December, 2005, was released earlier this year (through Nuclear Blast) and again charted #1 in Switzerland.

GOTTHARD Complete Video Shoot For 'The Call'

Last week the video for GOTTHARD's first online single 'The Call' – taken from the new album Domino Effect (due for release on April 27th) – was shot in Nuernberg, Germany.

Directed by Martin Mueller from RCN-TV the clip was shot in the famous Grand Hotel. There, the beautiful Richard-Wagner-Saloon as well as the Honeymoon Suite have been the locations for the shooting of the extraordinary clip.

"As the song itself is a very traditional ballad we wanted the clip to be everything else than traditional", bass player Marc Lynn explained to the newspaper Nuernberger Zeitung, which reported about the video shoot.

"For example, we will have one scene, in which Steve Lee, our singer, sits in a restaurant with a girl and the waitress serves him a cut out heart."

GOTTHARD To Perform Live On German Radio

Nuclear Blast Europe reports that Swiss hard rock titans GOTTHARD will perform a live acoustic-set for SWR 1 Kopfhörer - LIVE on July 11th.

The show will take place at the Günter-Eich-Haus (www.Hans-Bredow-Str .) in Baden Baden in the SWR area.

The live recording will also go on air afterwards at SWR 1 Kopfhörer.

GOTTHARD - Swiss Acoustic Gig To Be Broadcast On July 27th


On July 11th, Swiss hard rockers GOTTHARD played a successful show at SWR1. For more than one hour Switzerland's biggest rock act performed an acoustic gig for SWR1's show Kopfhörer. The show will be broadcast on July 27th at 23:00.
