SUICIDE SILENCE Completes New Album;

Riverside, CA based quintet SUICIDE SILENCE (www.myspace.com/suicidesilence ) just wrapped up the recording process for their debut album, which is set for a summer release through Century Media. The new effort was recorded with producer John Travis (STATIC-X), and Tue Madsen (HIMSA, THE HAUNTED) is currently handling the mixing duties.

Mitch Lucker (vocals) states: "Working with John Travis was definitely an amazing experience. He had us track everything live in order in order to capture the intensity we were aiming for. Additionally, our buddy Nate Johnson (now vocalist of THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD) lent some guest vocals to the record. We can't wait for you to hear it. Suicide Silence kicks off a week-long headlining run with STICK TO YOUR GUNS on Thursday, leading them directly into a massive US tour as direct support to Bury Your Dead, which kicks off on April 20th. This six-week trek, which features Stick To Your Guns and SINCE THE FLOOD in the opening slots, will hit The New England Metal and Hardcore Festival on Friday, April 27th. Suicide Silence adheres to no preconceived notions and refuses to be pigeonholed into any specific genre. The juxtaposition of each member's talents creates an explosive yet exciting result that is sure to keep the entire scene on their toes. SUICIDE SILENCE Celebrate Extremely Successful Year


SUICIDE SILENCE have plenty of reasons to celebrate after having an extremely successful 2007 which saw their debut album, The Cleansing, enter the Billboard Top 200 chart at #94, their video for 'The Price Of Beauty' get officially banned by MTV and perform over an unprecedented 150 shows throughout North America alone.

This demanding touring schedule saw them headline two lengthy US runs and travel alongside such artists as UNEARTH, DARKEST HOUR, A LIFE ONCE LOST, DESPISED ICON and many others. The group already have a massive touring schedule lined up for early next year. Stay tuned for a major announcement to be made in the coming weeks.

Suicide Silence recently shot a new video for the track 'Bludgeoned To Death' with acclaimed director David Brodsky (GWAR, THE RED CHORD). The clip is set to capture the band’s unrelenting, frenetic stage energy and look for a special making of the video to be released online in the coming weeks.
