POWERWORLD To Mix New Album In May

POWERWORLD ( www.powerworld.org ), the German band featuring ex-FREEDOM CALL bassist Ilker Ersin, have issued the following brief update:

"The recordings will be finished in the middle of April. In the beginning of May we will start with the mix in Munich (Germany) with Chris Lausmann, formerly known from the band BONFIRE).

PowerWorld's debut full length is expected out in late 2007. Two demos, 'Your World Is Not Mine' and 'I Reach The Light', can be found at this location.

PowerWorld - The brainchild of former Freedom Call and Moon'doc bassist Ilker Ersin. After his departure from Freedom Call in the middle of 2005, Ersin decided to go different paths and started to work on an album with more grooves and less Power Metal influences. The band is completed by talented German singer Steffen Brunner, Nils Neumann (ex-Freedom Call), Barish Kepic (ex-Jaded Heart, g.) and Jürgen Lucas (At Vance, d.). Their self titled debut album will be released on March 28, 2008.
