| TRIVIUM Experience Insanity In Edmonton TRIVIUM have posted the following update at their official website: "The Sounds Of The Underground Tour is winding down and for us it has been a really good time. We've been able meet some nice people make some new friends and fans and do our thing (what more can you ask for!). We want to thank the promoters and production team for the SOTU for having us along for the ride. As you know we will shoot two videos this week one on the 10th and one on the 11th. We have one more show left for the Sounds Of The Underground Tour and that will be the final show of the tour and it will be held this Saturday August 12th at the Gibson Universal Amphitheatre in LA. Now back to the header THANK YOU EDMONTON... We've had the good fortune to play across Canada a few times on some other tours and have always enjoyed the crowds and positive experiences but last night in Edmonton (our first time there) there must have been something in the beer. All we can say is HOLY FUCKING SHIT it was insane last night. What a great show and thanks to everyone who really gave us their all out energy. That sort of energy doesn't happen every day or every show so all we can say is THANK YOU for a great time. We hope to see you all again sometime in the near future. Be sure to check in with Ninju as he documents his travels around North America with The Sounds Of The Underground Tour on TRIVIUM'S http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=http://mail.yahoo.com/config/login?/blog.view&friendID=5047134&blogID=142566573&MyToken=62282292-2ce5-42a6-bf63-7853c5e78315 | |

| TRIVIUM - Last Call For Los Angeles Video Shoot
As previously reported, TRIVIUM are shooting material in Los Angeles this week for the song 'Anthem (We Are The Fire)', which is off their forthcoming album, The Crusade, due out through Roadrunner on October 10. The band are still looking for fans for today's shoot and state at their official website:
"This is your last chance to join Trivium on the set of their new video, this Friday, 3pm at the following address: 29304 Castle Hills Drive Agoura Hills, CA 91301
Candidates will be chosen on a first come, first serve basis and you must be at least 18 years of age or you will be turned away. Don't miss this opportunity to join The Crusade for metal!"
Recorded at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, FL, just outside of Orlando, The Crusade picks up where Ascendancy left off. Once again produced by Trivium and Jason Suecof, lead singer Matt Heafy commented recently: "As a band, you can either release the same album again, keeping the same number of people interested and not really branch out, or you can evolve. I feel that The Crusade is the next logical step in our evolution. We took one big step between the first two albums, but this time we've taken about ten huge leaps forward." | |
