RONNIE JAMES DIO - The Members Of BLACK SABBATH "Wanted To Have A Chance To Be More Musically Inventive Again"

Ricardo Baca from the Denver Post spoke to legendary singer RONNIE JAMES DIO recently about a number of topics including the OZZY OSBOURNE-led BLACK SABBATH.

"The band has been doing OzzFest for all of these years, and they wanted to have a chance to be more musically inventive again," Dio says about the new material found on Black Sabbath: The Dio Years, which feature Dio, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butlet and drummer Vinnie Appice. "And these songs do just that - they give them the opportunity to be more creative with the music they're playing."
