Queensrÿche will be joining the long-awaited HEAVEN & HELL Tour that will spotlight BLACK SABBATH's DIO years beginning in the fall. Although the US leg of the Heaven & Hell Tour begins this Sunday, April 22, in Phoenix, Arizona (see www.heavenandhelllive.com for complete details), Queensrÿche will be joining the quartet of Dio, Iommi, Butler and Appice in September after a few solo dates (including dates in Japan in late May/early June) scattered amongst rehearsals this summer.

Last summer, Queensrÿche went on an ambitious 74-date trek in support of Operation: Mindcrime II (on Rhino Records) where they performed both Mindcrime albums in their entirety from beginning to end. This year's tour will contain hits and rarities.

According to a Queensrÿche update: "Metal fans will definitely be in their element when Heaven and Hell along with Queensryche come to town."

QUEENSRŸCHE - Looney Tunes In-Store To Be Filmed For Possible Release




QUEENSRŸCHE will take part in an intimate acoustic performance as well as autograph signing on July 21st at 3pm at Looney Tunes in West Babylon, NY.

Space is very limited and every single person in attendance must have a wristband! Wristbands can be obtained by pre-ordering the Mindcrime At The Moore CD/DVD package by clicking online here or in person at Looney Tunes, located at 31 Brookvale Ave. Each person can get two things signed - the Mindcrime At The Moore CD cover and one other item.

Queensrÿche will be doing an extended acoustic set full of RARE tracks. The event will also be professionaly recorded for a possible CD or DVD. QUEENSRŸCHE - UK Release Of Mindcrime At The Moore Announced

Warner Music Entertainment today announced the UK release of Queensrÿche's legendary hometown Seattle concert performance of their mega successful Mindcrime albums - Operation: Mindcrime Parts 1 and 2, as a stunning 2-DVD set entitled Mindcrime At The Moore. UK release date is Monday September 3rd.

This timely DVD release dovetails Queensrÿche's forthcoming 17-date co-headline UK tour with THIN LIZZY which kicks off on November 22nd at Leicester De Montfort Hall.

The concert DVD includes a full theatrical production mixed in 5.1 Surround Sound, video imagery and actors portraying the concept albums' characters onstage with the band. Bonus features include exclusive Tour Documentary, Rock & Ride Featurette and 'The Chase' performed with Ronnie James Dio.

Quality fan-filmed video footage of QUEENSRŸCHE performing at last year's Rocklahoma festival, which took place in July 2007 on the outskirts of Pryor, Oklahoma, can be viewed below (courtesy of "dammefather").

As previously reported, QUEENSRŸCHE will perform the entirety of its "Operation: Mindcrime I" and "II" albums for the very first time in the UK via a 10-date June 2008 tour. This epic theatrical prog metal extravaganza will take in three hours, and will include an intermission, and in addition to the core members of the band, will feature actors re-enacting the storyline behind both of these compelling albums.
