HALFORD - Samples From Metal God Essentials - Volume 1 Now Available

Frontiers Records has announced the tracklisting for the forthcoming HALFORD "best of" release, Metal God Essentials - Volume 1" out in Europe on June 8th.

The album includes the Halford band's first new songs in more than four years - 'Forgotten Generation' and 'Drop Out' - plus an exclusive Attie Bauw mix for 'Redemption' and the 1999 demo version of 'Silent Screams'.

The FIGHT and Halford box sets will feature a 5.1 DVD documentary and live concert performance, remastered audio releases, expanded booklet, rare and unreleased photos and liner notes.

The box sets are tentatively titled:
Fight - War Of Words The Film - Box Set, Halford - Live at Rock In Rio III - Box Set, Halford - Live Crucible World Tour - Box Set.

ROB HALFORD's Metal God Essentials To See US/Japan Release In September

JUDAS PRIEST frontman ROB HALFORD has posted the following message in his Quorum:

"Hi Metal Heads:

Just letting you know that MGE is about to announce my US and Japan partners soon. Both territories are scheduling Metal God Essentials – Volume 1 for September release.

The industry is much more scaled-down than in prior years. We took our time with the process; holding discussions with nearly every major, indie and a certain music channel regarding Metal God Entertainment’s future releases. With this process now over; everyone is working full-time to finish the new Fight film. It looks killer. More news on that soon.

I’m off to work with Priest shortly. Look forward to catching up with everyone in September.
