ANCIENT CREATION Recording Debut Album

Kansas City, Missouri metallers ANCIENT CREATION have been confirmed for the Omaha Metalfest on August 3rd at the Rox nightclub in Omaha, Nebraska. They are also confirmed for the Chicago Midwest Metal Anthem on August 24th also featuring EDEN'S FALL, SACRED DAWN, DIVISION, MIRROR BLACK, RAVENSTHORN, OTTOMAN EMPIRE, BAVMORDA, SOULS DEMISE, ANCIENT CREATION, BLACK CASKET.

Ancient Creation have been at The Funeral Home Recording Studio with producer Greg Ponder (PUBLIC ASSASSIN guitarist, vocalist) recording their debut CD due out in October/November via Melissa Records. The band recently finished up all the recording and are in the process of mixing and mastering their as-yet-untitled 11 track CD.

Producer Greg Ponder was formerly in the band Public Assassin witch spawned the metal careers of drummer Richard Christy (DEATH, CONTROL DENIED, ICED EARTH) and Steve Childers (BURNING INSIDE, BLACK WITCHERY). Greg has laid down several of the backing vocals on the new CD.

ANCIENT CREATION - New Album Title, Tracklisting And Artwork Revealed




As previously reported, Missouri-based progpowerheads ANCIENT CREATION toiled and sweated in The Funeral Home Studio in Springfield, Montana in May and June to record their first album for Melissa Records, with producer and horror enthusiast Greg Ponder behind the knobs.

The album, Evolution Bound, will contain the following nine tracks of technical power metal, featuring lots of dual lead guitars and great melodies:

Artwork and booklet design were handled by Jan Yrlund at Darkgrove Design, also responsible for album covers for SEVENTH CALLING and TYR.

The UK release date for Evolution Bound is November 23rd and November 26th in Ireland.
