WARHAG Guitarist Issues Update



WARHAG guitarist Kurt Phillips ( www.warhag.com ) has contacted BW&BK with the following update:

B.C. Metallers Warhag are pleased to announce their appearance at the upcomung 4th Annual Scorpion Awards Show. The show will be held in Vernon B.C. on Tuesday September 26th at the fabulous Vernon Multi-Plex Center.

They are also nominated for "Metal Band Of The Year".

Guitarist Kurt Phillips comments: "It's great to be showcasing the band at such a prestigious event, especially at the same time as being nominated. This follows on the heels of playing at The Bluffs, a large festival size outdoor venue. Although it was early in the Festival, and there wasn't a ton of people, we got to lay down some Imperial Quality Metal for everyone who was there!!.

It's been a great year for the band. We have done some great gigs.We have a fabulous new female singer, Dawn Hatchard, and have some killer new songs, plus she adds so much to the previous material. We are in the process of her re-tracking the lead vocals on some older songs, and re-mixing to prepare for the release of Into The Castle. Needless to say, it has been a slow process, but I feel really blessed that it is playing out as it should. We have killer swag for sale, including T-shirts, patches, hats, etc. We are looking for any bands swinging out this way to do shows with. Whether here in the Valley, or Alberta, down to Vancouver, and even Seattle area.

We want to send huge THANK YOUs to the fans, writers, DJ mags, and media agencies (THANKS BW&BK!!) that have supported and encouraged us, whether by doing interviews, playing the music, buying the products, whatever, it all helps. As great as the Sinister Grip CD has been received, we want to finishing selling that out, and get the new and updated product into the world, and that is exciting to us!!
