JADED HEART Putting Finishing Touches On Sinister Mind; Album Release Date Set




German melodic metal masters JADED HEART are putting the finishing touches to their brand new studio opus entitled Sinister Mind.

The band welcomes on board for the first official recording session the new guitar player Peter Ostros. He contributed to the songwriting of the new record and brought a lot of fresh new ideas on the table.

Sinister Mind is being produced and mixed with the collaboration of some of the top names in the German scene: Michael Voss (MAD MAX, VOICES OF ROCK), Chris Lausmann (ex-BONFIRE, Voices Of Rock) and Dennis Ward (PINK CREAM 69).

The new album will feature more musical varieties than ever, so Jaded Heart will definitely win many more fans. Of course, Jaded Heart will be touring Europe in support of the new album.

Frontiers Records has scheduled the European release of the album for October 19th, with further details to be announced shortly.

Frontiers Records is pleased to announce all details of the release on "Sinister Mind" the new album from the Melodic Hard Rock Masters JADED HEART !

The new album is the second that was recorded after singer Michael Bormann's departure from the line-up. Swedish ex SCUDIERO shouter Johan Fahlberg proved to be a more than perfect replacement and his live performances have conquered many new fans during the recent JADED HEART European tours. The new album is also going to present a new face, the guitarist Peter Ostros, who has contributed strongly to the songwriting of this kick-ass new release.

The sound on the album is definitely heavier and more in your face, still keeping intact the elements that has created the recognizable and well-known JADED HEART sound. Production was handled by some of the most requested guys in the German Hard Rock scene: Michael Voss (Mad Max, Voices Of Rock), Chris Lausmann (ex-Bonfire, Voices Of Rock) and Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69) and you can definitely hear a sound that has the "million dollar bucks" trademark!

JADED HEART are already working on new tour dates to visit as many European countries as possible in the next months

pour le 19 octobre, voici les commentaires du groupe sur chacun des titres :

Hero - We were looking for a real live track and opener for the album and here it is. We were testing this song a couple of times while we were playing live and it was such fun to play.

Justice Is Deserved - A really heavy track with the albums highest vocal note and angry lyrics.

Sinister Mind - The title track. It contains heavy guitar riffs, melodic verses and great choirs, done by Erik Mårtensson (Eclipse). He´s been involved in all choirs actually.

Going Under - A classic Jaded Heart groove like Anymore or Inside Out.

See The Light - We wrote that song together after we entered the rehearsing room for a jam session. We killed some beers and things just happened.

Open Your Eyes - A good friend of the band, Mikael Rosengren, wrote this song together with Johan. Johan came up with the idea of having the song on the album because it really sounds like early Jaded Heart. We cranked it up a little bit and here it is! Another reason to have Mikael involved in the album is, that he introduced Johan to us in 2004.

My Eager´s Red - The 2nd part of the guitar solo was played by Sascha Gerstner of German metal heroes Helloween. It is great to have some friends involved in the album and we are very proud having him playing on this song.

Always On My Mind - This song is dedicated to Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Janis Joplin.

Heavenly Devotion - This song was planned to have a duet between John Corabi and Johan. But unfortunately Johns time schedule was too tough because he had to go on tour with Ratt when we were recording vocals for this song.

To Please and Give In - A classic “kid missing father/mother figure” lyric. So full of hate.
Hellucinate - AOR-vibes in the beginning that turns to schizophrenia. Scary... he he.
Crush That Fear - Peter had this idea to fool around with some different drum patterns on this song. Johan and Peter woke up after a long night with wine and beer with various riffs and vocal lines. But most of it is still there. Amazing.
