MAGNUM Commence Work On New CD
MAGNUM have begun studio work on their next album, tentatively titled Princess Alice And The Broken Arrow.

The band have also posted the following at their official website: "A familiar phrase comes to mind. 'Here we are again'. Back in the studio for the recording of the new Magnum album. Locked up in the Staffordshire countryside we have finally got our arses in gear and moved all the songs that Tony (Clarkin - guitar) has been working on in his home studio over to the Mad Hat`s hard drives. It always seem like an age from one album to the next and how quickly you forget how this all works. How do you write songs? Tony never seems to have the answer, but some how it all comes out even if it comes out slowly, kicking and screaming like a big girl, the songs that is, not Tony. Once again Mark Stuart will be at the helm. Very quickly the routine kicks in. Go to the studio,
Have a cup of tea,
Talk about last nights TV,
Have another cup of tea,
Work for an hour or so on the new songs and have a cup of tea and so on & so on…
I think you get the idea.
Mark will be looking after the recording side of things while we all point at
buttons as if we know what we are doing. Oh yeh, and making the tea.
We have now got quite a few ideas for new songs well and truly sorted. A long way to go but it’s all sounding promising. Bob will be back in the studio in a few days so we can really get moving on keys and vocal ideas. The entire band as always seems excited and chomping at the bit to get stuck in. Al will be coming in soon to take over tea duties.
We will try over the next few weeks to keep things rolling into the site. We are working on doing a pod-cast/video type thing for you. Let the guys with the computers do their thing. Any way that’s it for now. All the best from the boys at the studio. Speak to you soon."
