CLOUDSCAPE To Shoot New Promo Video, You Decide The Song


Sweden's CLOUDSCAPE have posted the following message at their official website:

"Cloudscape will shoot a new promotion video during this fall and the video will be filmed, edited and produced by Rainer Holmgren, who also is the man behind the 'Under Fire' video.

Unfortunally, Cloudscape hasn't decided which song to choose from the new album, Crimson Skies, so, they are asking their fans and listeners to vote for the best song to shoot a video for in the Cloudscape Forum.

Please enter the forum and vote for the song you think will be best for a video. If you're not a Forum member you have to register yourself.

CLOUDSCAPE To Shoot New Promo Video


CLOUDSCAPE have posted the following message at their website:

"Cloudscape has decided to shoot a new promotion video. The song that has been choosen is 'Demon Tears' (Crimson Skies).

Cloudscape wishes to thank all friendly fans that helped them out voting for the most appropriate song to shoot a video for!! The final result in the “voting poll” located in the Cloudscape Forum ended up with 'Demon Tears' and 'Breach In My Sanity' sharing number 1 position. After internal discussions within the band and also director Rainer Holmgren who will film and direct the video the final choice fell on 'Demon Tears'.

The video will be used in the purpose of promotion and will also be included in the Progpower UK DVD that will be available during that festival on March 31, 2007.

Once again, MANY thanx to all of You who helped Cloudscape, voting in the Forum!!

CLOUDSCAPE Frontman Records Vocals For Song On New Janne Starks Solo Album

CLOUDSCAPE's website has been updated with the following news:

"(Vocalist) Mike Andersson (Cloudscape) has recorded all vocals on a song on Swedish guitarist Janne Starks' forthcoming solo album. The album is called Mountain Of Power and the album includes a lot of old Hard Rock songs from the seventies. There's a lot of well known artists included on the album and Mike is one of them and he sings a song called 'Black Train' which originally was recorded by MONSTROSE. Street date for this album in set to November 24th. Check it out!"

CLOUDSCAPE - 'Breach In My Sanity' Live Video Online

Swedish metallers CLOUDSCAPE have posted a live video of 'Breach In My Sanity' at their MySpace http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoID=1941010903 The video was filmed during the Cloudscape show at Sweden Rock Festival 2006 on June 9th.

As previously reported, Cloudscape will enter the Roastinghouse Studio in Malmo, Sweden on September 3rd to record their as-yet-untitled third album with Pontus Lindmark and Anders "Theo" Theander at the production helm

CLOUDSCAPE Gearing Up For Hometown Show

Swedish metallers CLOUDSCAPE have issued the following update:

"As you may know Cloudscape will perform live in their hometown at a festival called Helsingborg Rock & Metal Festival. As far as we know the tickets sales goes really well but, nevertheless the organizers suggests everybody to buy their tickets on pre-sale at www.juliusbiljettservice.se . Since this is a brand new festival the organizers gets a better glimpse of how many metal fans there is that will show up on July 13 and 14. The price for this festival is 395:- (two days) and some of the income will go to the benefit for children with cancer (www.barncancerfonden.se).
