According to the group's official bio, "STYGIA is a world-class project created by Todd Seitz. The album will be in the spirit of Conan the Barbarian and the stories of Robert E. Howard. Todd's influences will combine to make a dark fantasy like feeling come to life in the form of progressive power metal. Guests on the album will be Richard Andersson (keyboardist for TIME REQUIEM, MAJESTIC, SPACE ODYSSEY, etc.) and Joe Stump."

STYGIA Issue "Drum Sessions" Update

Guitarist Todd Seitz from Boston-based progressive metallers STYGIA has issued the following update:

"The drum sessions are now complete.

John Macaluso (ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, TNT, ARK) laid down probably the most insane drums he's ever recorded. There's a lot of personality and texture that will add to the ideas behind the music. Also some very nice drum sounds.

The album has a running time around 60 minutes with 9 songs. Soon I will start recording the guitar tracks. I'll be using both my favorite amps the ENGL Powerball and Metaltronix M-1000.
