THOR Thunders Into Vancouver Next Month

Rock Warrior THOR is ready to shake the very halls of Valhalla itself from the stage of The Backstage Lounge on Granville Island (1585 Johnson Street) on December 1 as part of the Night Of The Champions! Joining Thor will be SAINTS COLLAPSE, THE ANGER! THE POWER! THE FURY! AND THE FILTH, and JENNIFER DOLL’S ROCK’N’ROLL BURLESQUE. This show promises to be a theatrical extravaganza, and will feature guest appearances by Joe Keithley (DOA), FRANK SODA (THE IMPS) and other surprise guests!

This clip is also whipping up hurricane-force excitement for the thunderous, epic musical quest Thor is preparing to take listeners on with his new album, Into The Noise – already available digitally, and will be officially be released on January 9th by Sudden Death Records in association with Fathom Records (a team that’s a force to be reckoned with indeed!)

“Into The Noise is basically a concept album where the band goes on a journey to the center of the mind, of noise,” said Thor. “They come across all these alternate characters and creatures like The Sound King. It’s a quest. Like in the song ‘Back For More’, it’s about coming back to rise up again and do battle again. Sometimes you have to retreat when you get overwhelmed or defeated, but then you regain your strength and go back in. So we’re heading back Into the Noise.”

The CD also features an incredible three minute blazing guitar solo berserker by Steve Price!

The new songs are already getting very positive responses as the band has been playing cuts from the album onstage.

Steve Price, who is featured on the album along with Thor and Mike Kischnich, was to fly to Vancouver to perform with Thor, Kischnick, JET STAR SYSTEMS, SONNY DEAN, and GIDO.

Price unfortunately will not be able to make it due to finishing post production on the new Thor’s Revenge video being produced in Boca Raton, Florida by Fathom Records and Zero Gravity Studios.
