The 69 Eyes will start the year 2008 by releasing their first ever live album on January 16th. Hollywood Kills - Live At The Whisky A Go Go comes out through Virgin Finland.

The latest single release from the album is a gothic masterpiece 'Ghost' featuring
APOCALYPTICA. The CD single also includes 'Wrap Your Troubles In Dreams' (2007 version) and the video of 'Never Say Die'.
The 69 Eyes' new album, Angels, was released in the UK by Albert Productions. The UK version includes the both video singles. The 69 Eyes was also featured in various British mags like Kerrang!, Metal Hammer, Classic Rock, Big Cheese and Rock Sound in June/July/August issues. The album is out through Virgin/EMI elsewhere in Europe, through Caroline Records in the USA and through Toshiba/EMI in Japan. The album is an Opendisc with a link to bonus material.
Angels has gone well over gold in Finland. It went straight to #1 on the Finnish album charts on its first week after release. Earlier 'Perfect Skin', the first single release from the album, entered also number one on the singles chart. The next single 'Never Say Die' was also for a long in the top 10 of the most played songs in the Finnish national radio airplay charts (#4, 16/2007). All 69 Eyes albums and the DVD Helsinki Vampires since 2000's Blessed Be have gone gold in Finland, Paris Kills and Devils also platinum.
Angels was produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa and Johnny Lee Michaels - the same infamous team that brought you Devils. The first single pick from the album was 'Perfect Skin' - the video was directed by Ralf Strathmann and filmed in Hollywood in the mid October 2006. The commercial release of the single was January/February 2007. The additional tracks on the single are live versions of 'Devils', 'Christina Death' and 'I Just Want to Have Something To Do' (orig. by the RAMONES) recorded at Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood in March 2006. The single is an Opendisc with a link to bonus material.
The second single is
'Never Say Die' - the video which includes a whole bunch of The 69 Eyes' Hollywood-inner-circle party people as well as MySpace's world famous sleaze queen Forbidden was also directed by Ralf Strathmann and filmed around L.A. in January 2007. You can watch the both videos on The 69 Eyes
official MySpace! The commercially released single also includes a B-side 'Only Fools Don't Fall Once More'.
In the US "Angels" is released by legendary Caroline Records. The label that once brought you Misfits, White Zombie and Smashing Pumpkins. Caroline also re-released "Devils" with bonus tracks as a part of the earlier mentioned Angels & Devils deluxe package in the US in Halloween 2007.
Yet another legendary label Cleopatra Records has now released the entire 69 Eyes' back catalogue in the USA: Framed In Blood- The Very Blessed Of... compilation CD, Helsinki Vampires DVD and the rest of the classic 69 albums are already out!!! The most recent Cleopatra 69 release is a 12" picture disc version of Framed In Blood and both 'Gothic Girl' and 'Wrap Your Troubles In Dreams' 7"s - only on vinyl, fetish baby!
The 69 Eyes did their 2nd US tour this year in July, now headlining, the tour was entitled Angels Love Devils with
WEDNESDAY 13, NIGHHT KILLS THE DAY and
