DEF LEPPARD, WHITESNAKE To Co-Headline UK Dates

DEF LEPPARD's official website has been updated with the following:

"After playing only two shows in 2006 (in support of their Yeah! album), Def Leppard will return to their home country this June for a handful of shows to support their upcoming new album Songs From The Sparkle Lounge (release date to be announced soon). And they won't be alone... All dates on the UK tour will see Leppard co-headlining with none other than WHITESNAKE.

The following dates are confirmed for this tour:

June
17 - Glasgow, Scotland at SECC
18 - Birmingham, England at NEC
20 - Manchester, England at MEN
23 - Sheffield, England at Arena
24 - Newcastle, England at Arena
26 - London, England at Wembley Arena

More dates may be confirmed at a later time. The UK dates can be booked through LiveNation UK or the 24 hour CC hotline at 0844-576-5483 (all tickets subject to a booking fee). The onsale dates (for general tickets and Fan Club presales) will be announced soon.

Furthermore, we can confirm that the band will also play two shows in the fast expanding rock haven that is India in mid May. As soon as we get confirmation of these dates, we will post them right away.
