MERCENARY Frontman Issues Tour Update
As previously reported,
MERCENARY are supporting
THE HAUNTED on a European mini-tour this month, which will hit seven countries in eight days. Lead vocalist Mikkel Sandagger has issued the following tour update from Eindhoven, Holland:
"Hello to all who read this!
Right now I'm sitting in Eindhoven, Netherlands. I'm going to tell you all a bit about what has happened from since we left Aalborg til after the gig in London, Underworld.
As said earlier, we were supposed to go by ferry from Esbjerg, DK to Harwich, UK in our mobil home / RV (read:cool night liner haha). Unfortunately, that was cancelled due to storm which meant that we had to drive all the way to France, and go through the tunnel to London instead. A small 16-hour-trip. So I guess we were all kind of bashed, arriving in London. But that´s the cool life of a rock star (read: vagabond trucker).
We were told to play 30 minutes instead of 40 – but never mind that. So we played 4 songs (nice to go all the way to London to play 4 songs!! Hehe), and it all went down well for a first gig. I guess I felt we played a bit by rutine because of the long drive. There were lots of people and The Haunted were awesome as expected.
Our set list: 'Soul Decision', 'Redefine Me', 'World Hate Center', 'Simplicity Demand'.
We almost got warmed up before we had to stop, but it was cool anyway.
Today it's Eindhoven, Netherlands. A place called Effenaar. Typically Dutch place: very cool venue, nice stage and kind people. Looking forward to playing tonight and hopefully we'll get all 40 minutes so we can throw in 'Lost Reality'.
More tomorrow guys and girls.
Pictures/video will be up on
