CONSTANCIA is the brainchild of former Scudiero/Token keyboardist Mikael Rosengren. He had written a load of melodic semi progressive songs and contacted Janne Stark (Overdrive, Locomotive Breath, SALT) who jumped at the offer. Singer David Frember (Andromeda) was added to the line-up, as was Jaded Heart bass player Michael Müller and drummer Peter "TrumPeter" Svensson (Faith, Mercy, Locomotive Breath).

The style? Melogressive! That is - melodic, slightly aggressive and semi-progressive hard rock!

There are around 15 songs written and ready, of which two has been demoed with the full line-up and one ("King Is Calling") in a semi-version (with programmed drums). The demo was mixed by Johan Blomström (Blinded Colony, Kaptain Sun, Calm, Faith, Overdrive).

The band is currently looking for a suitable and interested label. If you like what you hear - let us know!
