SLAYER Set To Kick Off International Phase Of 2006 World Tour
Extreme metal kingpins SLAYER are set to kick off the international phase of their 2006 world tour in support of Christ Illusion, which debuted at #3 on Canada's Soundscan charts and at #5 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart last week. The jaunt begins in the UK, where Slayer will be performing at two of the country's biggest festivals; Leeds on Friday, August 25 and Reading on Sunday, August 27. Other international dates see Slayer headlining major outdoor festivals as well as their own concerts in South America, Mexico, Singapore, and Japan. On October 20, the European leg of Slayer's Unholy Alliance Tour: Preaching To The Perverted which also features IN FLAMES, CHILDREN OF BODOM, LAMB OF GOD, and THINE EYES BLEED.
