AC/DC's Brian Johnson Releases Three New Songs




According to Glidemagazine.com, to celebrate the release of Totally Baked – a stoner comedy executive produced by AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson - Johnson is offering free MP3 downloads of three original songs he produced for the film’s soundtrack. These songs, titled 'Chain Gang', 'Chase That Tail', and 'Who Phoned The Law' are available to download now and for a limited time at here.

Watch the trailer below. Totally Baked is now in stores, though 10% of all direct sales through the film website will be donated to NORML (The National Organization to Reform Marijuana Laws).

AC/DC Slam Apple iTunes - "We Don't Make Singles, We Make Albums" Says Brian Johnson

According to NME.com, AC/DC have slammed the iTunes music download service.

AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson, whose band refuse to make their songs available on iTunes, said the boycott was because they didn't want fans simply downloading a few tracks of theirs.

"We don't make singles, we make albums," he told the Telegraph.

"We believe the songs on any of our albums belong together. If we were on iTunes, we know a certain percentage of people would only download two or three songs from the album. We don't think that represents us musically."

Young added that despite pressure from industry figures to make AC/DC's songs available on iTunes, he didn't believe that being part of the site was crucial to success.

"Since iTunes came into existence, we've actually increased our back catalogue sales without being on the site," he said. "We were sternly warned by our management team and our record label that the complete opposite would be the case."

AC/DC are set to release a new album, Black Ice, on October 20. It won't be available on iTunes.
