OCEANS OF SADNESS Post New Album Teaser

Belgium's OCEANS OF SADNESS have issued the following update:

"We wanted to share with you and the rest of the world that we've posted a first teaser for our upcoming fifth album, The Arrogance Of Ignorance, on our MySpace.

This teaser contains short samples from most of the songs on TAOI.

The album is produced by Jens Bogren (OPETH, KATATONIA, AMON AMARTH) and artwork will be designed by Seth Siro (MOONSPELL, PARADISE LOST, OCEANSIZE).

It also features guest appearances by beautiful people like Annlouice Loegdlund (DIABLO SWING ORCHESTRA) and Johan Liiva (ARCH ENEMY, HEARSE).

The band is negotiating with labels as we speak and the album should be released shortly after the summer of 2008!"

Belgian progressive metallers OCEANS OF SADNESS have posted a new song from their forthcoming fifth album, "The Arrogance of Ignorance", on their MySpace page. According to the band, "The song is called 'Some Things Seem So Easy' and it is a shining example of the diversity of OCEANS OF SADNESS. It grows from an almost 'country-like' feeling over to back-breaking heaviness and Ozzy-influenced vocals to end in an ocean of acid-drenched structures and melodies.

"The Arrogance of Ignorance" was produced by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street in Örebro, Sweden and contains 10 tracks. The CD includes guest appearances by Annlouice Loegdlund (DIABLO SWING ORCHESTRA) on the song 'Subconscious' and Johan Liiva (formerly of ARCH ENEMY, HEARSE) on the track "In The End". Artwork was created by the Greek artist Seth Siro Anton.

OCEANS OF SADNESS Sign With The Prophecy Agency


Belgium's OCEANS OF SADNESS have issued the following update:

"Proudly we can announce that we've started a collaboration with Stefan Van Vught from the Prophecy Agency to get our music out there!

Since he is homebased in the Netherlands we start to conquer our northern neighbours with our metal madness..."

The Prophecy Artist & Bookings Agency is a small but professional Dutch bookings agency. Stefan van Vugt is the owner and he began his agency in the year 2004. Because he is a musician himself and he shared the stage with many bands he knows that there is a lot of talent out
there. The reason why he decided he wants to promote kick ass metal bands.
