Seattle's METAL CHURCH have issued the following update:

"Hey Everyone,

Kurdt (Vanderhoof, guitars) is putting the final touches on our new release. We can't wait for you guys to hear it. This Present Wasteland rocks and we are all very proud of this work.

Our new guitar player Rick Van Zandt came in and did a bang up job on his leads (they're killer) and we even have a couple guest guitar solos from some well known shredders! You are all in for a treat.

We will fill you in on all the details at a later date.

So stay tuned everybody for an actual release date and tour info. Make sure you check out a few pics from the last days of recording.

Seattle's METAL CHURCH have issued the following update:

"We wanted to give you an update on what has been going on with our new release. With the solos in the can we want to let you know about the friends that are special guests on this release. Chris Caffery (TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, SAVATAGE) and Angus Clark (TSO, TROUBLE CLUB) and G.I.T graduate Matt Leff as well as our own Rick Van Zandt have all done a killer job making this one of the best Metal Church efforts yet. We are all very very proud of our work, we took our time to make it the way we wanted it. As soon as we have something for you to hear it will be made available.

As you all know we wanted to make our fans a part of this CD so we asked you to send in your artwork for the cover. We received many entries and although we chose one for the cover we recognized all the effort that went into your work so we decided on several others to be a part of the inside sleeve. It still felt as if we were leaving too many behind so the rest will be made a part of a collage to fit many more entries. You should have been emailed by Metal Church's 'Mom' Kat giving you details of what we need from you. If you have not sent what she needs to her yet please do. Her email is Kat@pageplanit.com. Please note that we do not want any new entries as the contest is over. Kat already has her hands full trying to get so many included as it is. Kat does a lot of work for Metal Church and deserves a round of applause.

Metal Church is very fortunate to have such loyal fans. Not only have you all been there but now we have a whole new generation of fans as you share our music with your children. That is the highest compliment a band can have. Because of the fans we also wanted to do something for you. On the new release we wrote a song that is dedicated to you, the fans. Thank you all for so many years of dedication."

METAL CHURCH Confirm Live Dates With JUDAS PRIEST, QUEENSRŸCHE; Band To Record Live Album

METAL CHURCH have issued the following update:

"We have been getting so many emails about tour dates we wanted to give you an update on the plans for this years US dates. Metal Church will only be doing a handful of show later this summer at larger venues to accomodate more of the fans. These shows are currently being booked by Chuck Bernal at Artists Worldwide and will be recorded for our live album. It has been a long time since we have released a live album and this is the perfect opportunity.

We do have a couple special dates that have been confirmed. The first date is August 2 in Mapplewood, MN with JUDAS PRIEST. The second date is August 16th in San Juan Puerto Rico at Roberto Clemente Coliseum with QUEENSRŸCHE.

We are really looking forward to these shows and we will keep you all posted on the other dates as soon as we know more."
