| INTO ETERNITY Announces Release Date For The Incurable Tragedy; Prepare For North American Tour With ICED EARTH Canadian progressive metal titans INTO ETERNITY kick off their American touring cycle for The Incurable Tragedy on September 21st with genre leaders ICED EARTH. The North American trek follows the album’s September 2nd release and fans can expect to hear a lot of new material from the band’s first conceptual offering. Be sure to visit myspace.com/officialintoeternity now to view their current touring schedule. Tim Roth (guitars, vocals) further comments: “Iced Earth is a band that we have been waiting to tour with. I have been a fan since the early CM days and even wore a shirt of theirs in our album sleeve of our Dead Or Dreaming album. I know Justin Bender (guitars) even traveled to Minneapolis to see the band years ago. It’s a 25 hour round trip, so he has to be a fan! Ha! “Playing with a band that you actually love makes all the touring we do a lot more fun. It will be my first time ever seeing the band so I personally can't wait! A big thanks to Jon for giving us this chance. It will be a perfect tour to kick start our new cycle in support of The Incurable Tragedy. Fans can expect lots of fast drumming, high singing, shredding solos and hate filled death vocals. We look forward to seeing you all soon.” Into Eternity's first concept album, The Incurable Tragedy, also marked the first recording effort with Justin Bender (guitars) and Steve Bolognese (drums), who came aboard shortly after the band finished Gigantour '06. This offering was inspired by the deaths of Roth's two best friends, brothers who succumbed to cancer within two months of one another. To make matters worse, Roth's father was diagnosed with cancer as well. Showing no mercy, the disease claimed his life last year, just 10 days before Christmas. Roth channeled his emotions into a moving and riveting album which is sure to propel the band to new heights within the genre. The Incurable Tragedy features a slew of tracks with the band’s trademarked heavy grooves, stop-on-a-dime time changes, reflective lyrics, memorable choruses, shredding solos, and vocals that range from guttural growls to soaring harmonies. This album proves to be the perfect cure for those suffering from a lack of progressive metal perfection and is sure to rank upon many top ten year end lists. | |

| INTO ETERNITY Guitarist Issues Summer Slaughter Tour Recap INTO ETERNITY guitarist Justin Bender has checked in with the following update: "The first leg of our summer/fall North American run is now over. We're back in Regina (with Steve in tow) until we head back out and play our way to the east coast to join the ICED EARTH package. We had a great run on the Summer Slaughter tour, and everyone on the bill was wicked cool every day and there was a lot of broin' down. It was a lot of fun to have our old friends in DIVINITY out for their first big tour, and they did great every night - kudos to those guys! The last show in Vancouver was extra special, having mean Gene Hoglan out in the crowd and hangin' back stage. In the industry, he's what they like to call 'the man.' After the Slaughter package, we followed NECROPHAGIST to Seattle for one show, then split off on our own small headlining run which included two nights at the Jumping Turtle in San Marcos. I've gotta give a shout out to Joe Troutman for putting those shows together. That guy treats us so well, and makes sure we're all taken care of and welcomes us into his home. He put Neil Turban and the Deathriders on the bill the first night, and that was a treat! Neil can fuckin' wail, and his band was top notch. Hope to share the stage with them again soon! The Madison Amps metal fest in Colorado was wicked cool too. Thanks to Andy and all of his crew for putting on such a fun night. Our friend Doug made it out to the show, after putting in a year over in Iraq in a rescue chopper. We're all super-stoked you made it back unscathed, and we wish you the same luck on your next deployment, wherever that may be. Thanks to everyone who came out to the shows, and see you all very soon!" | |

| INTO ETERNITY Post New Track; Shoot Video Century Media Records reports: Canadian progressive metal titans INTO ETERNITY just posted the new track 'Time Immemorial' on their MySpace page, so head over now to check it out. The band recently shot a new video for the track with acclaimed director Craig Bernard (THEORY OF A DEADMAN). Expect the clip to premiere next month. Bassist Troy Bleich comments on the video shoot as follows: “We ended up making it to Montreal just in time for our video shoot for 'Time Immemorial.' The location was awesome, as it was apparently a haunted house. Didn't see any ghosts, though. That would've been cool, as it might have filled in the 13 hours of time spent waiting for Stu's acting career to take flight! In all seriousness, it was a very cool experience and I think the video is going to be awesome. Thanks to the director Craig and the rest of the crew for making it a time that was truly...immemorial.” Into Eternity are this week’s featured artists on MTV News’ Metal File. This is a very personal, in-depth interview which sees Tim Roth (guitars, vocals) speaking openly about the cancer that struck his two best friends and father, in addition to how it became the concept for their new record. He goes on to say how it was shaped by that experience and what they hope to be doing tour-wise for the rest of the year. Click here to check it out. The band is currently preparing to embark on a massive North American tour as direct support of ICED EARTH. Visit myspace.com/officialintoeternity or the band’s official website to view their complete touring itinerary. | |

| INTO ETERNITY Singer Stu Block Checks In From The Road
INTO ETERNITY singer Stu Block has issued the following road update:
"The tour has been going better than expected, and we want to thank everyone who's come out and shown support! We've recently had the opportunity to play with a great variety of bands on our off-dates. In Louisville, it was cool partying it up with SUICIDE SILENCE and seeing our fellow Canadians in BENEATH THE MASSACRE again. We also got a chance to fulfill a childhood dream by opening for TESTAMENT in Syracuse, where it was awesome seeing SOILENT GREEN as well. We're also super-stoked to be playing with death metal pioneers DEICIDE in Mexico, where we haven't been since we played the Monterrey Metal Fest in 2005 with DANZIG, W.A.S.P. and MOTÖRHEAD.
After the Mexican onslaught, we'll return to America to continue the tour with ICED EARTH. I can't wait to find out how many bad guys Barlow's nabbed. (He's still not onto us, so shhh...) Again, we can't thank Sean Maier enough for helping us out on this tour. He's a phenomenal guitarist, and I'm sure you will hear more of him in the coming years. Check him out in his band Blessed By A Broken Heart or his ripping solo shit on MySpace. He's doing really well with us, but it's still weird not sharing the stage with Tim. Rest assured, we will be back at 100% soon.
All of this would be in vain without our fans supporting us every night. It's been a long road so far, and it's a good feeling to know that we have fans supporting us in both the good times and the not-so-good. Thank you again for your undying support!" | |
