ICON Guitarist Dan Wexler To Sign Autographs At DVD Pre-Release Event

Epicenter Multimedia is proud to announce the exclusive pre-release of ICON - 1984: Live Bootleg on DVD as a special signing with guitarist Dan Wexler on Saturday, June 28th at 1 PM at Rockzone Records in Tempe, Arizona.

Dan will be signing copies of the DVD as a copy is shown on screen through the store. He will also be on 93.3 KDKB's Headbanger's Heaven later that evening to discuss the live DVD and the recently reformed Icon's plans for the future.

Originally released on VHS in 1999 thru Epilogue Entertainment, this single camera shot concert is the only known document of an entire performance by the original band consisting of Stephen Clifford, Dan Wexler, John Aquilino, Tracy Wallach and Pat Dixon.

With the advances in digital technology since its original release in 1999, the beta master was recently put thru a series of broadcast filters and Izotope mastering plug-ins.

These technological advancements have produced a clearer picture and an enhanced soundtrack compared to the original release.

As an added bonus, a brand new interview with Dan Wexler and John Aquilino filmed in May 2008 is included to round out this release. Filmed during their first tour, the concert features songs from their debut album as well as songs from the yet to be recorded Night Of The Crime record and a few songs that to this date have yet to be released.

ICON Members Announce Arizona In-Store Signing

Original ICON guitarists Dan Wexler & John Aquilino of the reactivated '80s hard rockers will make an in-store appearance at Rockzone Records in Tempe, Arizona (www.rockzonerecords.com for location and info) on Saturday, June 28 at 1:00 PM. They will be signing copies of Icon's 1984: Live Bootleg DVD as a copy is shown on screen through the store. Later that evening they will be joined by new vocalist Scott Hammons to appear on 93.3 KDKB's Headbanger's Heaven (www.kdkb.com – streaming audio available) later that evening to discuss the live DVD and the recently reformed band's plans for the future.
