As previously reported, Twilight Of The Thunder God will be released the 19th of September in Germany/Austria/Switzerland/Italy and the 22nd of September in the rest of Europe. North America and rest of the world release date is September 30th.
The album was recorded at Fascination Street Studio in Örebro, Sweden and will include such song titles as
'Guardians Of Asgaard', 'Live For The Kill' and
'Tattered Banners And Bloody Flags'.
In other news, the band have announced "official" North American tour dates.
"It's time again for us Vikings to make our way across the Atlantic," says Amon Amarth in an update. "It's now official, we will be heading over for a headlining North American tour in support of our new album, "Twilight of the Thundergod".
The tour will start October 1st, taking off from Anaheim, CA and last until October 21st. Joining our venture will be
ENSIFERUM, BELPHEGOR and
THE ABSENCE, all solid and outstanding bands that we are honoured to make part of our tour. We are excited to perform in front of our North American fans and cannot wait until then. Since our new album, Twilight Of The Thunder God will be coming out September 30th, expect new songs to be played!
