ACE FREHLEY - Rocklahoma Setlist And Picture Gallery Available


Maribeth Rosensteel at KISSAsylum has issued the following update:

"On Sunday, July 13th Ace Frehley performed at the Rocklahoma Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma. The day before there was damaging winds that caused two side stages to collapse - but thankfully the weather was great for Ace's performance.

Ace performed a great set that included (not in order) 'Rip It Out', 'Parasite', 'I Want You / Rock Soldiers', 'Snowblind', 'Into The Void', 'Shout It Out Loud', 'Shock Me (which he dedicated to former New York Yankee Bobby Mercer, who passed away this week), 'New York Groove', 'Love Gun', 'Deuce / Black Diamond' outro.

A great set, and the band sounded fantastic. It was great to see Ace playing in front of a large festival crowd. Here are 36 photos from Ace's performance."

Sitting behind the drum kit for LYNCH MOB's performance at Rocklahoma was CINDERELLA's Fred Coury, who stepped in for Tommy Aldridge after Tommy answered the call for the drumming duties in THIN LIZZY. Joining him for the set were guitarist George Lynch (ex-DOKKEN), vocalist Oni Logan and bassist Marco Mendoza (WHITESNAKE, THIN LIZZY)

LYNCH MOB's U.S. tour with CINDERELLA, WARRANT and LYNAM was cancelled after CINDERELLA frontman Tom Keifer's left vocal cord hemorrhaged during rehearsal, thereby making it impossible for him to sing in the immediate future.

STEELHEART - "Rocklahoma Was A Huge Success"

The website for US rockers STEELHEART has been updated as follows:

"Rocklahoma was a huge success. SteelHeart started the show with a video of Mili Matijevic and Dale Snodgrass flying in a fighter Jet. Mili drove up on the stage with a Harley. You can watch this video on SteelHeart TV this weekend. The band sounded amazing and the fans showed their support by chanting for the only encore in the five day event. SteelHeart not only was the only band that had a booth but it also managed to stay standing after the 65 mile per hour wind storm with the help of seven friends holding down the fort! After the show SteelHeart had a line over 500 people to meet the band at the SteelHeart Booth to show their support. Check this weekend for pictures and more info."

Steelheart's album, Good 2B Alive, will be released on September 15th.
