THE PLASMARIFLE Announce New Drummer; Reveal Album Art And Tracklist For New Album Montréal metallers
THE PLASMARIFLE, who feature in their ranks ex-NEURAXIS vocalist Maynard Moore, have amicably parted with their old drummer, and gained a new one.
Says Maynard Moore: "We are sad to announce that Sean Connors will no longer be drumming for The Plasmarifle. He is leaving the band for personal reasons. We are very sad to see him leave, he is a great friend and drummer and will remain so. We wish him the very best of luck with all of his
future projects. The hole that Sean leaves is sizable, and will be filled by Alexandre Dupras. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Alex in the many adventures we will experience as a band."
The band's debut album, While ou Were Sleeping The World Changed In An Instant, has been made available for pre-order at
this location.
There has also been clarification to why the album release was pushed back to October 14th. The band choose to remaster the effort, instead of remix it.
The album was recorded by
Bart Frydrychowicz (NECRONOMICON, DECADAWN) at studio 40 West, and mastered by former DESPISED ICON guitarist
Yannick St-Amand (Despised Icon, BENEATH THE MASSACRE, NEFASTUS DIES, CAMILLA RHODES, VORTEX) at Northern Studio. Artwork was done by
Colin Marks (WHITECHAPEL, THE RED DEATH).
The album is due out October 14th via Siege of Amida/Ferret Music.
The Plasmarifle will be performing live at The Medley in Montreal, Quebec on Saturday, September 6th with QUO VADIS, DESPISED ICON and BLINDED BY FAITH
