Taped at New Jersey's Bergen Performing Arts Center the series spotlights new and established talent, including

Andrew Dice Clay.

In addition to headlining the stand-up special Jim Norton: Monster Rain in October 2007 on HBO, the comedian is a regular on the controversial Opie & Anthony radio show, and a popular fixture on the stand-up comedy circuit. He debuted on HBO in 2005 with his own edition of One Night Stand, and was a cast member of the 2006 HBO series Lucky Louie. Norton has also been featured on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, Last Comic Standing and Last Call with Carson Daly.
Norton appeared in the blockbuster film Spider-Man and has released two CDs of stand-up comedy: 2002's Yellow Discipline and 2003's Trinkets I Won Made from Gorilla Hands. He became a New York Times best-selling author with his book Happy Endings: The Tales of a Meaty-Breasted Zilch, a compilation of journal entries, raunchy sex stories, embarrassing star sightings and pathetic childhood memories.
Down And Dirty With Jim Norton is executive produced by David Steinberg and John Irwin; produced by Jonathan Brandstein and Mason Steinberg; directed by Michael Dimich.
