THE ABSENCE, WOE OF TYRANTS And PSYOPUS Latest Acts Added To Indianapolis Metal Fest 2


Metal Blade Recording artists THE ABSENCE, WOE OF TYRANTS and PSYOPUS are the latest acts confirmed for the Indianapolis Metal Fest 2 set to take place on September 26th - 27th at the Madam C.J. Walker Theatre in Indianapolis, IN. The Indianapolis Metal Fest II is sponsored by Roaring Lion Energy Drink, Sam Ash Music, Jagermeister, Axis Percussion, DiscMakers, Zildjian and more.

The Indianapolis Metal Fest’s sophomore effort has quadrupled from last year’s one-day event with 1,400 fans to what has grown to be a two-day, three-stage event expecting thousands of fans to see 60 bands from all genres of metal. Also scheduled to perform are: DIVINE HERESY, KITTIE, DEW-SCENTED, MUSTASCH, EKOTREN, DEMIRICOUS, SHADOWSIDE, LEVEL-C, WYKKED WYTCH, OBSZON GESCHOPF, THREAT SIGNAL, GREEN JELLY, INTO ETERNITY, DAYLIGHT DIES, BLEED THE SKY, DESTROPHY, SKELETONWITCH, THE DESTRO and GATES OF SLUMBER.

In other news, Axis Percussion a leader specializing in the manufacturing of precision drum pedals and drum hardware has announced its sponsorship of the Indianapolis Metal Fest 2.

“We are proud to have Axis Percussion as the official drum pedal of the Indianapolis Metal Fest”, said Rob Mason, the organizer of the festival. “With the caliber of percussionists performing at this years festival, and the heavy-hitting bass drum sound that is synonymous with metal music, it only makes sense to partner with the industry leader.”

Drummers attending and performing at the event are encouraged to enter a contest on the metal fest website for a chance to win an Axis A Longboards Double Pedal.
