Street Team Guru and International Promoter Mama Trash of US basedMama Trash Promotions, Inc. will return to Helsinki, Finland for thesecond annual Trash Fest in March 2009. MT says, 'It is both an honorand a privilege to work with such talented artists in the Mama TrashFamily. Creating and producing this festival is an awesome opportunityto introduce people to Family Artists music. With a substantial branchof the family tree hailing from Scandinavia, and my love for Helsinki,it was the obvious choice and will remain the home of the annual TrashFestival.'
'Family Artist & friend, Jussi 69 of The 69 Eyes calls it 'Thenext Helldone!' and Mortiis says 'We're all excited to be part of MamaTrash's festival this year, especially since it's being held inFinland, we've always enjoyed playing in Finland and look forward todoing some new stuff there soon, from the new album, which we finallyfinished recently.'
The weekend festivities will start with a Trash Fest Kick-Off Partyon Thursday, March 19th including a CD listening session for a soon tobe announced Family Artists' new release. Mama Trash Family Artistswill be in attendance to meet fans as well as special guest DJ's and aperformance by HellFire Society (ITA)! The location will be disclosedin November. A minimal cover fee will be charged at the door for thisevent.
Trash Fest II will be held at Gloria in Helsinki, Finland on March20th and March 21st 2009 featuring Mama Trash Family Artists fromaround the globe!
