| Last Year's Charity Auction  As some of you may know, the drummer for the band Lit, Allen Shellenberger, was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor last spring. My dear friend and manager for the past 15 years has been managing Lit for over 18 years. Allen's illness comes as a great shock to his friends, fans, and bandmates. To help raise funds for his continuing treatments I decided to offer a guitar lesson late last year. The lesson was auctioned off on eBay and the final bid came in at $12,600.00 for a one hour guitar lesson! Yikes, If I was to charge myself that amount every time I taught myself a new riff, I would go broke. God bless Chris Bullen who bought the lesson! - Steve | |
