Les hard rockeurs allemand rentreront en studio à Los Angeles, afin d'enregistrer leur nouvel album en compagnie du producteur Desmond Child.

SCORPIONS - Odd Couple With The HOOTERS?

Philadelphia radio is reporting that former (current?) HOOTERS guitarist Eric Bazilian (who has co-written songs for RICKY MARTIN, JOURNEY, BON JOVI, CYNDI LAUPER, ROBBIE WILLIAMS and ALANNAH MYLES) will produce the next Scorpions record.

More news to follow, as this is neither confirmed or denied.

It was previously reported that the band are scheduled to hit the studio with producer Desmond Child (AEROSMITH, BON JOVI, ALICE COOPER, KISS) for an album due out next May.

HOOTERS Management Comment On SCORPIONS Report

Earllier today we reported that Philadelphia radio is reporting that former (current?) HOOTERS guitarist Eric Bazilian (who has co-written songs for RICKY MARTIN, JOURNEY, BON JOVI, CYNDI LAUPER, ROBBIE WILLIAMS and ALANNAH MYLES) will produce the next SCORPIONS record.

We also stated that although the reports were neither confirmed or denied, it had been reported previously that the Scorpions were scheduled to hit the studio with producer Desmond Child (AEROSMITH, BON JOVI, ALICE COOPER, KISS) for an album due out next May.

Hooters management has since issued BW&BK the following exclusive update:

"Desmond (Child) is the producer of the new Scorpions record. Eric (Bazilian) has been involved in the songwriting for the album and has been and will be involved in the recording in some capacity. Whatever that capacity is, it is not as producer."

As previously reported, the band's 2006 Wacken Open Air appearance was the subject of a documentary which aired on
October 16th at at the Rockpalast website . http://www.rockpalast.de/konzerte/2006/wacken/

The band are scheduled to hit the studio soon with producer Desmond Child (AEROSMITH, BON JOVI, ALICE COOPER, KISS) for an album due out next May.

SCORPIONS - "Greetings From Wintery California"

German rock legends the SCORPIONS have issued the following update:

"The recording of the new album is in a very intensive phase, at the moment we're tracking vocals and lead guitars. Europe had storms, in Malibu we had snow and each new day in the studio finds us in the eye of the hurricane. Greetings from wintery California."

Exclusivité CRAZYSCORPS : Le nouvel album de Scorpions se nomme Humanity - Hour 1, et sortira le 24 Mai 2007 chez BMG Records. Il s'agirait apparemment d'un concept album en plusieurs parties, dont l'histoire est pour le moment gardée secrète. Selon BMG l'album est un retour en force au hard mélodique qui a fait la gloire de Scorpions!
