SUIDAKRA - Caledonia Artwork, Tracklisting Revealed
The following update has been posted at German death metallers
SUIDAKRA's website:
As the festival season draws to an end, I bring you a special message from the band themselves:
"Thanks to everybody who attended our show at Wacken Open Air! The show was a blast for us and we got a lot of positive feedback, especially about the new songs from Caledonia that we played... This just underlines the good feeling we have about the new album. Thanks a lot and hopefully we'll see you on the road again soon!"

backstage.
http://www.suidakra.com/index.php?page=gallery_WOA06_backstageWe also have a couple of interviews for those of you who prefer German to English. Arise Radio interviewed Arkadius about the forthcoming album at Wacken Open Air, and you can have a listen here! If you prefer to read, or if you're like me and can't find your computer speakers, fear not! Another German language interview can be found at
Metal-Inside.de.

I know you all want to see the artwork (pictured), so a round of applause please for Kris Verwimp who, yet again, has captured the atmosphere and energy of SuidAkrA's music in visual format.
I can also reveal that the complete tracklist for Caledonia is as follows:
'Highland Hills',
'A Blackened Shield', '
The Ember Deid (Part II),
'Evoke The Demon',
'Forth-Clyde', 'Ramble' (instrumental),
'Dawning Tempest',
'The Distant Call',
'On Torrid Sand',
'The IXth Legion',
'Farewell'.
The album was recorded by Martin Buchwalter at Gernhart Records Studio, Siegburg, Germany. It was mastered by Michael Schwabe at Monoposto Mastering (Subway To Sally, Die Toten Hosen) Düsseldorf, Germany.
While the album is now complete and ready to be thrust upon unsuspecting metal fans and random passers-by, don't be fooled into thinking that the band are relaxing with a nice cup of tea! They are busy preparing their acoustic live set, which will premiere in Kiel, Germany in December [
Tour Dates http://www.suidakra.com/index.php?page=tourdates ], and Marcus has busied himself editing a studio video which is available to view on the band's
MySpace page http://www.myspace.com/suidakra (don't forget to add them as friends to stay up-to-date via MySpace!). A detailed studio report will also be online soon with, I am told, info on Arkadius intestinal flora "and other less interesting stuff". Much like you, I... can't wait! (Maybe they spent too long stuck in the recording studio, poor things).
One more thing! You can expect to see a brand new homepage here soon, based on the Caledonia theme and artwork! The new page will be in both English and German, like it used to be, which should please some of you! In the meantime, we have some pictures of the new Caledonia session taken by Axel Jusseit for you to view here

So, there is your update, with lots of things for you to see and do. We now begin the next chapter in the SuidAkrA story, and it's one which is going to leave no man standing! ;-)
