SUIDAKRA - Forthcoming Best Of Compilation To Feature Re- Recorded Tracks And DVD




SUIDAKRA have issued the following update:

"It’s been five weeks since our mini tour of Ireland, but nevertheless we would like to thank Jim, the guys of SIROCCO (http://www.myspace.com/siroccoband ) and Archeron Promotions (http://www.myspace.com/acheronpromotions ) for all the fun times over those few short days! At the same time, a big fuck you goes out to Dublin promoter Ciaran 'Nailz' O’Neill from MMP / Alderwood Records who nearly managed to fuck up not only the Dublin show, but also the two shows in Cork thanks to his organizational ineptitude and his paranoid nature. We would seriously warn any band or promoter against working with this person!!!

On to more pleasant things:

Just a few days left until Wacken Open Air! As a surprise and as an additional incentive (as if it was needed!) for you to be at front of the Black Stage for 11:00pm on Friday, we will be accompanied by Axel (http://www.sound-of-scotland.de ) and his highland bagpipes! The opportunity to see us live on stage with bagpipes doesn't happen every day, so be sure not to miss it!

After Wacken we will stagger into the Gernhart Studio (http://www.gernhart.de ) to record some old SuidAkrA tracks and re-master the newer ones for a Best Of compilation. This album will be released together with a live DVD containing the Wacken 2006 show, the acoustic show at the Kielowatt Festvial 2006 and various other video clips. This fine package will be complimented graphically with artwork by Kris Verwimp, so this will surely be a must-have for every SuidAkrA fan, and fans of the future! More info soon.

SUIDAKRA have issued the following update:

"Finally, we can announce the official release dates for the 13 Years Of Celtic Wartunes DVD + Best Of CD package:

Germany - April 25th
Europe - April 28th
USA - June 10th

13 Years Of Celtic Wartunes will be released as a 6-page digipack on the new Wacken Records label, with worldwide distribution handled by SPV.

The digipack, from front to back cover, and the booklet are designed to look like a book dating back to another time, and include comments from the band plus personal background information about the Wacken show, acoustic concert and the Best Of compilation. You'll also find personal, unreleased pictures spanning the history of the band."
