SINNER - New Video Available For High Quality Streaming

The video for the SINNER song 'Diary Of Evil', the first single from their new Mask Of Sanity album, has been uploaded by director Katja Piolka and is now available for streaming at this location.

Piolka previously created a video-clip for the Sinner song 'Die On Command', taken from the band's 2003 album There Will Be Execution. It was actually a precursor to the work she did on 'Diary Of Evil'. Fans can check it out here.

In the past Piolka has created cover art for bands including PRIMAL FEAR, RAGE, END OF GREEN, LEAVES' EYES and DESTRUCTION. For more information on her work go to this location.

SINNER - Founder Speaks About THIN LIZZY Connection

Mask Of Sanity, the newest platter by Germany's long-running SINNER, has more than a passing nod to the legacy of Phil Lynott and THIN LIZZY. In addition to moments of uncanny resemblance (see 'Diary Of Evil', amongst others), the disc closes with a cover of 'Baby Please Don't Go'. Bassist/singer/founder Matt Sinner (who does an admirable vocal homage to the late Irishman) explains his fascination. "Phil was a huge influence in my earlier days. I play bass & sing, I mostly played with two lead guitarists in the band. I love his songwriting, his fantastic lyrics etc. We played a festival in the summer in Dublin, Ireland and visited his hometown. Sinner and PRIMAL FEAR have a track on the OFFICIAL Phil Lynott tribute sampler, to help collect money for his statue. So, we visited his statue, had some nice Guinness in his favourite pub, played a great show there and visited his grave in Sutton on the next day. With this positive vibe, we entered the recording studio. (That was ) not enough, so I wrote 'Diary Of Evil' together with Roy Z. (HALFORD, BRUCE DICKINSON) who has the same musical taste and background. I’m very happy about my trip in(to) the past and to have Sinner, music-wise, back where the band belongs! Now I’m preparing to enter the studio with Primal Fear on the weekend!"

PHD is handling the record in Canada, while Crash Music will release it in the US on February 20th.
