| LOUDNESS - Details Of Forthcoming 25th Anniversary Box Set Revealed LOUDNESS will release a 25th Anniversary box set on April 4th featuring their complete Columbia Records catalogue. The package includes the following albums: The Birthday Eve, Devil Soldier, The Law Of Devil's Land, Disillusion (Japanese and English versions), Thunder In The East, guitarist Akira Takasaki's solo album Tusk Of Jaguar, drummer Munetaka Higuchi's solo album Hakai Gaisen Roku, Loudness (DVD), Eurobounds (DVD), and a singles compilation entitled Single Collection featuring unreleased tracks. All CDs have been remastered and will come in a deluxe box. Cover art and additional details will be revealed as we get them. As previously reported, on November 25th, 2006 Loudness played their 25th Anniversary show at the International Forum Hall A in Tokyo Japan, 25 years to the day they officially became a band. A live DVD of the show will be released on February 27th in Japan through Tokuma Communications. The DVD tracklist will be as follows: 'Exultation', 'Lunatic', 'Crazy Doctor', 'The Winds Of Victory', Medley 1: ( 'Loudness', 'Street Woman', 'Lonely Player', 'Angel Dust', 'In The Mirror', 'Black Wall', 'Esper'), 'So Lonely', 'Cross', 'Crazy Samurai', Medley 2: ( 'Let It Go', 'Rock N' Roll Gypsy', 'Like Hell', 'Soldier Of Fortune', 'Pray For The Dead', 'Never Change Your Mind'), 'The End Of Earth', 'Stay Wild', 'Crazy Night', 'The Pandemonium', 'The Battlehsip Musashi', 'The Love Of My Life' (new song). 'S.D.I.', 'Speed' (new version). Loudness' 25th Anniversary album, Breaking The Taboo, was released on December 27th in Japan via Tokuma Communications. | |

The package includes the following albums: The Birthday Eve, Devil Soldier, The Law Of Devil's Land, Disillusion (Japanese and English versions), Thunder In The East, guitarist Akira Takasaki's solo album Tusk Of Jaguar, drummer Munetaka Higuchi's solo album Hakai Gaisen Roku, Loudness (DVD), Eurobounds (DVD), and a singles CD compilation entitled Single Collection featuring unreleased tracks. | LOUDNESS Vocalist Sets The Record Straight Regarding Forthcoming Album Rumours regarding the next LOUDNESS studio album have been making the rounds, claiming it is nearing completion and due for a January 2008 release. BW&BK spoke to vocalist Minoru Niihara, who revealed that the band will hit the studio to begin recording in December. They are shooting for a February 6th release date but nothing is confirmed. We'll keep you posted as details become available. As previously reported, Loudness guitarist Akira Takasaki released his new solo album, Black Brown, on September 26th. Audio samples of all tracks on the album are available here.
