HYDROGYN - Announce Label Change, European Tour Dates


According to a new press release, "the American melodic hard rock band HYDROGYN has announced that effective January 15, 2007, they will be moving from Chavis Records over to their new record label Da Records. The move over to Da Records has been made due to the fact that the band has several new major projects in the works for 2007 and needed to make the move in order to streamline the business operations of the group. The band would like to thank Chavis Records for all their outstanding support and for their great job in marketing the Bombshell CD during 2006. We wish them all the success in the world with their artists for 2007 and beyond.

Hydrogyn would like to announce the 1st part of the upcoming European tour which will begin in the UK starting in late February. These are the 1st round of confirmed dates:

February
23 - The Tavern , Wigan
24 - Rock City, Nottingham
25 - Cert 18, York
27 - Adelphia, Hull

March
1 - Gasworks, Bradford West Yorkshire
2 - The Tunnels, Aberdeen, Scotland
3 - London, Venue TBA

There are more dates currently being booked in France and other European countries during early March and we will announce those additional dates as soon as they are 100% confirmed by our booking agent.

Coming in February 2007, the Strip ?Em Blind Tour Live will be made available on Pay Per-View directly through the official Hydrogyn web site. You are not going to want to miss the hottest tour of 2006, captured live for you to see directly in the comfort of your own computer.

We are currently finalizing the new Julie calendar that will be available starting in March 2007. More details will be released in the coming weeks.

Finally, a Hydrogyn DVD will be released in late Spring 2007 to be followed by new Hydrogyn CD towards the end of the year. Hydrogyn will be on the road throughout the year as usual, so be sure to catch them live in a venue/city near you.

West Virginia's hard rock band HYDROGYN, whose current lineup includes DIO guitarist Craig Goldy, is in the final stages of the writing process for its new CD. The group will enter the studio in December to begin recording the as-yet-untitled effort for a tentative spring 2008 release.

"The writing is going great and the songs are shaping up to be very strong and a big growth from [2006's] 'Bombshell'," states singer Julie Westlake.

In other news, HYDROGYN has picked up The Paramour Group for management. "We found a very strong bond with Dean at Paramour and feel good about the enthusiasm shown us by him and look forward to very busy 2008 because of this alliance," states guitarist Jeff Westlake.
