ASTRAL DOORS - New Album Due This Summer

Swedish metallers ASTRAL DOORS have issued the following update:

"So far we have recorded the vocals to 5 new songs and my feeling is that this time you will hear a couple of new sides of Astral Doors. For example, todays song is a heavy-ballad kind of tune named 'Bastard Son'. I promise you, you have never heard Patrik (Johansson) sing with such emotion before, it's breathtaking! In the other hand we have harder songs than ever before as well. 'Planet Earth' is one example of that, the meanest song we have done this far. But don't worry, it will all fit in the frame of the true Astral-sound. So I guess you will hear a more varying Astral Doors when this, not yet entitled record will hit the stores. When? After the summer of 2007 I guess

ASTRAL DOORS - New Album To Be Mixed By Peter Tägtgren

Swedish metallers ASTRAL DOORS have issued the following update:

"The new album is almost ready for mix. During May we will return the the Abyss and Peter "Eleganten från vidderna" Tägtgren (HYPOCRISY, PAIN) and make our babies shine like a diamonds. We are sooooo pleased with the songs and we definitely brought it to the next level. You will experience some new soundscapes and atmospheres but still it is the non-mistakable astral sound so don't worry."

ASTRAL DOORS Reach End Of Mixing Process

Swedish metallers ASTRAL DOORS have issued the following update:

"Brothers,

We are at the end of the mixing process and it sounds awesome. Peter "Smällfete Sigge" Tägtgren has done a great job so far, so we don't have to kill him this time either.

Mastering will take place at Tailor Maid Productions in the beginning of June to make it sound even better, that's purpose of Mastering you know :-).

We have a title for the album but we keep it to our selves for a while. At this very moment the cover art is taking form, we have given the artist free hands so we have no idea how it will end up but we are sure it will be great.

OK, dont forget to keep an even stream of beer running down your throats to prepare your selves for the next Astral release.
