Tuesday, January 30th at 10:30pm EST is the premiere of Wrestling Society X on MTV. The special musical guest on the program is BLACK LABEL SOCIETY.

An excerpt from a press release reads as follows:

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY Bassist On St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Involvement - "If We Can Help Kids, That Will Be Our Legacy"

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY will embark on an European Tour, which is slated to kick off on May 27th in Moscow, Russia. The band will be touring in support of their latest album, Shot To Hell out now on Roadrunner Records. As previously reported, Black Label Society will not be performing at Ozzfest this summer. But Zakk Wylde will be performing with Ozzy Osbourne at Ozzfest, in support of Ozzy's new album, Black Rain, which is slated for a May 22nd release.

Black Label Society bassist John JD Deservio recently checked in with Boston-based writer Deb Rao to discuss the upcoming Black Label Society Tour.

Rao: Will it be the first time BLS has toured The Soviet Union?
Deservio: "It will be the first time BLS plays Russia. I'll tell ya about the crowds when we get back. It should be interesting for sure."

Rao: Black Label Society will also be performing many festivals this summer including The Fields of Rock and Monsters of Rock. What do you
enjoy most about performing at the summer festivals in Europe?
Deservio: "I am looking forward to the massive audiences and seeing the other bands play."

Rao: Are you looking forward to touring with Ozzy?
Deservio: "Oh yeah, it's going to be awesome."

Rao: The new Ozzy Osbourne CD featuring Zakk on guitar, Black Rain. It will be out soon. It really seems that Ozzy is returning to his old school roots on this release. Zakk is really shredding up a storm. Have you heard any clips from Black Rain yet?
Deservio: "Zakk plays his ass off on this record!"

Rao: During the recent BLS set, the band dedicated, 'Blood Is Thicker Than Water' to all of the children at St. Jude's (Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.). Tell me about Black Label Society's involvement with St. Jude.
Deservio: "We're donating A million dollars over the next 10 years. It's so hard to see kids fighting for their lives before they've even had a chance to live. If we can help kids, that will be our legacy."
