KOTIPELTO - New Single Hits Finnish Charts

STRATOVARIUS frontman Timo Kotipelto's new solo single, 'Sleep Well', entered the Finnish charts this week at #5. The video for the song can be found here.

As previously reported, 'Sleep Well' is the theme song for the new Finnish movie, Vares 2, which premiered in Finland on January 12th.

Kotipelto has set Serenity as the title of his third solo album, tentatively due out in early 2007 via his own label, High And Loud Records. The CD was recorded at Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki, Finland and was mixed by Mikko Karmila.

KOTIPELTO - New Album Enters Finnish Charts At #8

KOTIPELTO's album Serenity, featuring STRATOVARIUS frontman Timo Kotipelto, has entered the Finnish album charts at #8. Says Kotipelto: "I want to thank everyone who has bought the album - rock the metal!"

Serenity features Timo Kotipelto (vocals), Tuomas Wäinölä (guitars), Lauri Porra (bass/ Stratovarius), Janne Warman (keyboards/CHILDREN OF BODOM) and Mirka Rantanen (drums).
Two tracks - 'Serenity' and 'Sleep Well' - are currently streaming on the band's MySpace page.
