| TIGERTAILZ, ALLEYCAT SCRATCH To Be Featured On The Classic Metal Show Next Week The Classic Metal Show, heard 9 PM - 3 AM (EST) Saturdays at this location http://www.theclassicmetalshow.com/ have issued the following update in regards to next week's (October 28th) show: "This week on The Classic Metal Show, we're going to feature two bands that were largely overlooked in the 80s, but certainly were better than fate dealt them. First up, the band TIGERTAILZ. Many called them the UK's POISON, but others just considered them to be a great band. Their Berzerk album is considered one of those lost gems! They are back with it's sequel, Berzerk 2.0, and believe us when we say that it stands strong against the rest of their stuff. We'll do a New Music Listening Party for Berzerk 2.0, and we'll be attempting to have someone from the band on as well. Additionally, we're excited to bring you the reissue of ALLEYCAT SCRATCH's Deadboys In Trash City. This was another of those great, but largely unsung bands. We'll do a New Music Listening Party for Deadboys In Trash City, and Boa from the band has also indicated that he would like to check in as well." | |

| TIGERTAILZ Drummer Matt Blakout On Rocklahoma - "99% Of The Bill Is In My Record Collection"Bring Back Glam! spoke with drummer Matt Blakout of British glam band TIGERTAILZ recently. During the interview, Matt opens up about the illness of bassist Pepsi Tate, playing Rocklahoma, and the circumstances of relying on a record label for promotion. Here are a few excerpts from the chat: Bring Back Glam!: Talk about your new, upcoming album Thrill Pistol. Who wrote most of those songs, and are they the typical Tigertailz sound? Matt Blakout: "We're really excited about the album, I think it's the best ‘Tailz have done. There's something for everyone as usual with a ‘Tailz album - the first two songs will rip your face off! All of us contributed, in the main Kim (Hooker, lead vocals) brought three or four, Jay (Pepper, lead guitar) the same and he also penned “Thrill Pistol” and “Brain The Sucker,” which kicks the album off. Pepsi (Tate, bassist) wrote three or four also. The sound will surprise some but on the whole, we love it." BBG: Pepsi Tate recently underwent a biopsy. How is he doing now, and did his illness deter the recording process? Matt: "I spoke to him about an hour ago; he just came out of hospital today. He was in good spirits. He's going to have some further work done but on the whole he's very positive and pleased with himself on the things he's done with the new DVD and Thrill Pistol." BBG: Let's talk Rocklahoma. How was it that you got added to the extra night bill, and what will it be like for you to play in the U.S. after all these years? Matt: "Rocklahoma, yes great to be added to what seems to be a big event of all our contemporary brothers. You know 99% of the bill is in my record collection. I was a huge SLAUGHTER, WINGER, POISON, FIREHOUSE fan as well as Vince in MÖTLEY CRÜE of course. We'll make an official announcement regarding Rocklahoma very soon. We really can't wait to come over and play in the States." To read the entire interview head to this location.

| TIGERTAILZ Drop Off Rocklahoma Festival Bill; Bassist Pepsi Tate Readmitted To Hospital Bring Back Glam ( www.bringbackglam.com ) has issued the following news bulletin from TIGERTAILZ: "After weeks of speculation and much negotiation / deliberation, we regret to announce that Tigertailz will not be playing the Rocklahoma Festival on July 12th in Oklahoma USA. Unfortunately, Pepsi (Tate, bass) has been readmitted to hospital and has undergone another operation in his fight against Pancreatic Cancer. Pepsi is still undergoing treatment and requires two more operations in the coming weeks, so travelling to the US now is out of the question. However, Pepsi still wanted the band to travel without him and use a stand-in bass player to fulfil the Rocklahoma commitment. Unfortunately, with the limited timescales and logistics involved, it just hasn’t been possible to get everything prepared in time. So, it is with a heavy heart that we have to pull out of the Rocklahoma show. We would like to thank Dave Tedder and the Rocklahoma organisers for all their help in trying to make it happen. And a special thanks and apologies go to all our US fans that were travelling to see Tigertailz at the festival. We will see you all soon! No word who will fill the band's spot. Stand by for details." As reported earlier, the band's new album Thrill Pistol, will be released on August 27th via Sanctuary Records in the UK. According to a new press release, "it’s a 10-track, full metal racket of wild abandon that will satisfy all those with a craving for metal with the sleaze-gun set to stun.
