SILENT FORCE's D.C. Cooper To Sing Parts Slated For MARK BOALS In GENIUS Rock Opera


Frontiers Records reports:

D.C. Cooper (SILENT FORCE, ex-ROYAL HUNT) has accepted to join the cast of singers for the third and final chapter of the GENIUS Rock Opera entitled The Final Surprise.

D.C. will sing all the parts which were originally destined for the MARK BOALS character. The former YNGWIE MALMSTEEN singer will not be part of the final instalment of the project because of personal reasons.

The cast is therefore complete and will feature Daniel Gildenlow (PAIN OF SALVATION), Jorn Lande (ex-MASTERPLAN), Andrea Datwyler (LUNATICA), Eric Martin (ex-MR BIG), Toby Hitchcock (PRIDE OF LIONS) and of course D.C. Cooper.

The music was once again written, performed and produced in its entirety by the italian multi-instrumentist Daniele Liverani (KHYMERA) with the sole exception of the drums, played by Dario Ciccioni (HARTMANN).

Release of the record is pencilled in for December, 2006

SILENT FORCE - Walk The Earth Sneak Preview Available Online

A sneak preview of the title track from SILENT FORCE's new album, Walk The Earth, has been posted online. Check out the track 'Walk The Earth' here.

AFM Records will release Walk The Earth on February 16th.

Says the label, "This record is exactly how melodic Power Metal should sound in 2007! Honest, down to earth, powerful, cleverly arranged but not completely melodic.

Silent Force once again utilised the services of producer Dennis Ward, so prepare for February. The Gods of Power Metal will “Walk The Earth” once again…!"

As previously reported, Walk The Earth will be available on December 21st via Nexus Japan. The Japanese edition of the album will feature an as-yet-untitled bonus track.

SILENT FORCE: "Walk The Earth" released on February 16th

The new Silent Force Album "Walk The Earth" will be released on February
16th. The band, based around singer DC Cooper and guitar player Alex
Beyrodt, have once again utilised the services of producer Dennis Ward, who
did an amazing job on this record, and it'll certainly break this lot world
wide.
There will be a limited edition DigiPack including a bonus live video of the
Judas Priest cover version; "You've Got Another Thing Coming."

SILENT FORCE: Re-Release "The Empire Of Future" and "Infatuator"

As well as the release of the new Silent Force album "Walk The Earth", the
first two Silent Force records "The Empire Of Future" and "Infatuator" will
be re-released through AFM. "The Empire Of Future" will additionally contain
an acoustic version of the song "Saints And Sinners." The re-release of
"Infatuator" is set to include a bonus live video of the title track. The
release date of both albums will be the 2nd of March.
