AXEL RUDI PELL Explains Reasons For Cancelling Last Four Shows Of European Tour As previously reported, guitarist Axel Rudi Pell was forced to cancel the last four shows of the second leg of his Mystica tour due to "serious illness". Pell has issued the following update:
"I have to apologize for the cancelation of the four remaining shows during our second leg of the Mystica Tour. I had a breakdown before the first Spanish show in Madrid and was taken to hospital for four hours. The doctors diagnosed total exhaustion combined with a virus, which led to the breakdown. I got some really strong medication which took me through all the Spanish shows, but it got worse after every show. Unfortunately I wasn´t able to continue and the doctors told me to relax at home for a few weeks.
I would like to thank you for your understanding and your best wishes and kind words you wrote into my guestbook !
The planned show at the Plato in Helmond (NL) will take place at the same weekend as the Rock Hard Festival (May 25th - 27th). The other shows had to be postponed till the autumn this year. More News to follow in a few weeks.
So thank you again and stay healthy!"
