In other news, an exclusive Harem Scarem track will be featured on MelodicRock.com's forthcoming compilation, Volume 3. The song is called 'Coming For You' and a sample can be found at this location http://www.melodicrock.com/ . The band has issued the following comment:

"This is a previously unreleased classic Harem track that is exclusive to this compilation. This is one from the early days - the very early days! This is pre-the debut album - from the same era as the tracks used on the archive release The Early Years. Love those and you'll love this."

HAREM SCAREM guitarist Pete Lesperance has posted video footage of himself performing the instrumental track 'Mandy' from the band's classic Mood Swings album online. In addition. Lesperance has an audio "Petecast" up and running at his official website, which features updates from the studio including samples of new songs.

As previously reported, Harem Scarem are currently working on their 11th studio album. They are close to finshing it and have decided on a title, but a release date has yet to be confirmed. Photo sessions for the album are also complete; one of the pictures appears on the left (click to enlarge). More details of the release will be revealed soon.

As previously reported, the release of HAREM SCAREM's new album, Human Nature, was pushed from December to January 2007, with January 12th announced as the release date. The band has now confirmed this as fact via their official website. Human Nature will be available online at AOR Heaven, Music Buy Mail, NEH Distribution, Wishing Well Entertainment, CDbaby.com and haremscarem.net.

Retail distributors have been confirmed as NL Distribution, Cargo Records, Bullseye Records and Magada International.

HAREM SCAREM have issued the following update:

"Today we have a very special download for our GOLD Scaremites. Mike Murphy, one of the members, sent this track to me and agreed to make it available to other GOLD members as well. The track is called 'Carry On Believing' and was recorded by (vocalist) Harry Hess and his friends at Fanshawe College in late '80s."

Guitarist Pete Lesperance recently issued the following update:

"As far as the final Harem Scarem record, the truth of the matter is that since we have been busier then usual for the last couple months with rehearsing, playing and the usual day to day, we haven't been focused on writing for the record.

Since it is our last time out, we want to do something that we feel strongly about and we're not going to rush the the writing process just to meet a release deadline. So, the record will be postponed until we have the songs. That being said, we do have some tracks in the works and are writing for it. I hope this clears things up a bit."
