The Gibson Guitar European tour bus rolled into town for the annual London Guitar Show, now in its fifth year, held at ExCel. Over 30,000 guitar enthusiasts poured into the guitar show over the three days. The Gibson Guitar European tour bus proved popular with the visiting artists, press, exhibitors and members of the public. Expert guitar technician and Guitarist magazine columnist Robbie Gladwell was on hand to answer any Gibson guitar or Epiphone related questions.
A selection of Gibson Guitars were also on display which included the Gibson Custom Jimi Hendrix “Inspired by” Flying V, Gibson Les Paul Standard '59 reissue, Gibson Zakk Wylde Camo, Gibson J-45 Custom Koa acoustic and a Gibson L-00 Custom Latin Folk in Heritage Cherry Sunburst. Thousands of people turned up to take a look at the tour bus which marked Gibson’s debut appearance at the London Guitar Show.
Ex-SCORPIONS lead guitarist Uli Jon Roth (pictured left) is on the tour bus with a Gibson JIMI HENDRIX Flying-V, while James Frost, lead guitarist with the number one selling British band, THE AUTOMATIC, is pictured below with the prize draw Epiphone Les Paul Standard following the band's live set. The Epiphone Les Paul Standard was won by Alex Lee from Watford who entered the competition which ran over the three days and saw over two thousand people enter.
The impressive tour bus is a travelling show piece for Gibson Guitar which stops at special events and music festivals around Europe where Gibson Guitar has involvement and is used by artists, press and specially invited guests.
