New Rock Opera Premiers With Material From

AFM Records report that on Tuesday, August 22nd, the artists of the new Rock Opera created by Walter Weyers from Memmingen's Landestheater introduced their Prometheus Brain Project to the press for the very first time.
"It would be stupid to only play the classics. Theatre also needs some reality", author Kerstin Specht told the journalists.
The piece of theatre is all about insecure identities, orienteering and migration. Bernhard Weiss and Harry Oellers from
AXXIS have written the songs for the highly political piece, Kerstin Specht has written the text for it. It tells about the faith of a young refugee from the Kaukasus region who emigrates to Paris and falls in love with a punk girl there. But he is forced to move on, give her up and join the Foreign Legion. With it he joins the civil war in Africa.
Specht knows what she's talking about – in Paris she has interviewed soldiers from the Foreign Legion; in Africa she has experienced refugees.
"Everyone I met there just wanted to escape", she says.
